Public Awareness Alert: Theft of High-End Vehicles Region of Peel – In the ongoing effort to communicate potential concerns surrounding public safety, investigators would like to provide information concerning a recent increase in the theft of high-end motor vehicles.   Since March 2020, the Region of Peel has experienced several incidents of high-end vehicle thefts, often involving the use of weapons and threats of violence by the suspects.

Seeking Public’s Assistance to Identify Suspect Region of Peel- Officers from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public's assistance to identify a man involved in a mischief investigation in the City of Mississauga. From July 2018 to present, a number of incidents occurred involving damage to parked vehicles in the parking lot of a shopping centre located near the intersection of Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard.

Erasing Racing On Our Roadways Region of Peel - Peel Regional Police engaged in a strategic enforcement initiative to eliminate street racing activity on roadways within Peel Region this past weekend, laying numerous charges. As of mid-March, there has been a noticeable reduction of vehicles on our roadways due to the pandemic, resulting in little to no congestion.

Public Safety Advisory-Drug Overdoses Region of Peel – Peel Regional Police want to make the community aware of the unpredictable nature of illicit narcotics that contain combinations that are posing additional risk to public safety, namely drug overdoses.  In the last 24 hours, there have been four deaths in the Region of Peel, possibly related to illicit drug use.

Male Arrested in Sexual Assault Investigation Region of Peel - Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit have charged a man in a sexual assault investigation. A young victim recently came forward regarding ongoing incidents of sexual assault.
