Project Bengal was a four-month drug and stolen property investigation led by CIRT, which originated following a community complaint reporting suspected drug trafficking activity in the Meadowvale area.

    Region of Peel – Officers from the 21 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau have arrested and charged an adult male with firearm-related offences.  On Monday, July 21, 2025, a Criminal Code search warrant was executed at a residence near Brandon Gate Drive and Morning Star Drive in the City of Mississauga, where officers found improperly stored registered firearms and ammunition as well as an illegal loaded Glock handgun.
