WATCH CARJACKING VIDEO Region of Peel - Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau, in collaboration with the York Regional Police (YRP) Hold Up Unit, York Air Support, and Peel Tactical Unit, have arrested a man after a violent carjacking in the City of Mississauga. On Friday, July 14, 2023, the accused was operating a stolen 2022 white Ford F550 cargo van as he fled dangerously from YRP officers.

The work is a result of collaborative and dedicated work between PRP and OHRC beginning in 2020, to develop and implement strategies to identify and address systemic racism in policing.
