  • Canada-Wide Warrant Issued in a Homicide Investigation

    Region of Peel - Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau have obtained a Canada-wide warrant for a third man wanted for Second Degree Murder in connection with an incident that occurred in Mississauga. In July 2023, the victim, Gurvinder Nath, a 24-year-old man from Brampton, was making a food delivery in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road.

  • Search Warrant Leads to Arrests and the Seizure of a Firearm

    Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau have located a firearm following a search warrant at a residence in Brampton. On Thursday, April 24, 2025, 22 Division Criminal Investigative Bureau commenced an investigation into a shooting that occurred at a residence in the area of Raindrop Terrace and Mississauga Road in the city of Brampton.

  • Wanted Offender Arrested

    Region of Peel - Peel Regional Police have arrested and charged an individual in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation. On May 26 2025, the suspect was allegedly observed with a firearm.

  • Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest

    Region of Peel – Officers from the 22 Division uniform patrol have arrested and charged three men with gun related offences. On Saturday, June 7, 2025, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Stokes Road and Vivians Crescent in the city of Brampton.

    Region of Peel – Peel Regional Police have arrested and charged an individual in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.   On April 15, 2025, the accused allegedly used a firearm during an intimate partner violence incident.

The investigation, Project Pelican, marks the largest drug seizure in the service's history - with nearly $50 million worth of cocaine seized.
