Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Fraud Bureau have arrested and charged former Branch President of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) Local 228, in connection with the misappropriation of union funds. Following an internal investigation, the OPSEU Local 228 contacted Peel Regional Police and provided evidence that led to a criminal investigation.
