Meet Harley, the first dog in Canada trained to seek out digital storage devices through scent and deployed with the Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) to support officers during search warrants. Earlier this year, the ICE Unit of Peel Regional Police welcomed Harley to the team as an Electronic Storage Detection (ESD) canine.

Region of Peel – Officers from the Peel Regional Police 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested and charged a Georgetown resident and seized a replica firearm following a threatening incident in Mississauga. On March 14, 2023, Uniform officers responded to a threatening call-for-service in Mississauga, where it was believed that someone had allegedly brandished a firearm.

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are appealing for information following a shooting in the vicinity of The Collegeway and Ridgeway Drive in the City of Mississauga.  On Saturday, December 3, 2022, at approximately 6:30 pm, officers attended the area of The Collegeway and Ridgeway Drive in the City of Mississauga for reports of multiple shots fired.
