Peel Police Arrest Wanted Man in Connection to Fatal Stabbing in Mississauga
Region of Peel â Detectives from the Homicide Bureau have arrested the suspect wanted in connection to a fatal stabbing in Mississauga.
On Tuesday, May 19, at approximately 12:15 p.m., police responded to reports of a stabbing near Hurontario Street and Agnes Street. It is alleged that the victim and suspect became involved in a physical altercation in a nearby parking lot, during which the victim was stabbed. The victim, who has been identified as Chay Wilson, a 32-year-old man from Mississauga, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

As a result of the investigation, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for the arrest of 28-year-old Jerome Edwards, of no fixed address.
On Friday, May 29, Edwards was arrested for First-Degree Murder in the area of The Queensway and Kipling Avenue in Etobicoke.
Edwards was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
