Police/Peace Officer Exemplary Service Bars/Medals & Civilian Recognition Awards Ceremony Region of Peel - On Wednesday, May 1, 2019, Exemplary Service Bars and Medals were awarded to ninety-six (96) Peel Regional Police Officers and one (1) Peace Officer in a ceremony in Brampton. The medals are presented to members who have completed 20 years of exemplary service, and the bars to members who have achieved 30 and 40 years of exemplary service.

147 Criminal Charges Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Break and Enter Unit have charged two  men with a combined total of 147 criminal offences that occurred within Mississauga and Brampton. In November 2018, an investigation was commenced in regards to numerous commercial break and enters occurring within the Region of Peel.

Gun and Ammunition Seized Following Traffic Stop Region of Peel - Officers from 11 Division have charged a Toronto man with firearms related offences following a traffic stop in Mississauga. On Sunday, March 31, 2019 officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard in Mississauga.
