Police Shut Down Illegal Cannabis Dispensary Region of Peel - On Friday, January 18, 2019, investigators from the Peel Regional Police Vice, Narcotics and Street Level Organized Crime Bureau conducted a search warrant under the Cannabis Act at a premise located in the area of Hurontario Street and Dundas Street, in the City of Mississauga. As a result, investigators seized a total of 31 pounds of dried cannabis that was ready for sale, several cannabis edibles, some related Cannabidiol oil products (CBD) and approximately $10,000 of Canadian currency.
