Officer Charged in Police Shooting Region of Peel – The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) has charged a former Peel Regional Police officer regarding a shooting incident that occurred in the City of Mississauga. Summons Issued in Supermarket Disturbance Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau, working with the Equity and Inclusion Bureau, have issued a Summons to an individual in relation to a hate incident at a local Supermarket that occurred in Mississauga. On Sunday, July 5, 2020, the suspect attended a supermarket in the area of Central Parkway West and Grand Park Drive in the City of Mississauga.

Man Arrested for Defrauding the Public (1) Region of Peel – Investigators from the Fraud Bureau have arrested and charged a man with defrauding the public. Between March 1, 2015, and July 15, 2018, the man attended multiple businesses throughout the Region of Peel and City of Toronto selling and installing point of sale machines (POS).

Charges Laid After Multiple Vehicles Damaged in Brampton Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a man after multiple vehicles were damaged in the City of Brampton.  On Monday, July 13, 2020, a man attended a residential underground parking garage on Lisa Street in the City of Brampton.

Single Vehicle Collision Caught on Video Region of Peel – Officers from the 22 Division have charged a man relating to a single-vehicle collision the City of Brampton. The collision was captured on video and is circulating on social media, leaving many concerned citizens in the community.

Road Safety Services Begins Project Noisemaker Region of Peel –Road Safety Services will be launching Project Noisemaker, today, July 1, 2020. This project is designed to identify and reduce the number of motor vehicles with modified and/or excessively loud exhaust systems on Peel roads.

Public Awareness Alert: Theft of High-End Vehicles Region of Peel – In the ongoing effort to communicate potential concerns surrounding public safety, investigators would like to provide information concerning a recent increase in the theft of high-end motor vehicles.   Since March 2020, the Region of Peel has experienced several incidents of high-end vehicle thefts, often involving the use of weapons and threats of violence by the suspects.

Seeking Public’s Assistance to Identify Suspect Region of Peel- Officers from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public's assistance to identify a man involved in a mischief investigation in the City of Mississauga. From July 2018 to present, a number of incidents occurred involving damage to parked vehicles in the parking lot of a shopping centre located near the intersection of Argentia Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard.
