  • Arrests Made after Home Invasion and Carjacking Robberies

    Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Central Robbery Bureau have charged four young persons in relation to two home invasion robberies that occurred in Brampton. It is alleged that on October 10, 2023, four suspects forced entry into a home near Williams Parkway and Creditview Road in Brampton.

  • Peel Regional Police puts shovels in the ground for new Operational Support Facility

    Region of Peel – Peel Regional Police have officially broken ground on the new Operational Support Facility (OSF) at 8100 Mississauga Road, set to be completed in 2027. The facility will be home to over 700 Peel Regional Police employees with some bureaus and units operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Peel Regional Police releases inaugural Human Rights Project report and annual use of force data

    Region of Peel – On September 22, Peel Regional Police presented the inaugural Human Rights Project report with the use of force statistics at the Peel Police Services Board (PPSB) meeting. 

    The report, presented alongside Dr. Akwasi Owusu-Bempah, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Toronto Mississauga, included an analysis of race and identity-based data and other findings.

  • Assistance Sought in Car Theft Investigation

    WATCH VIDEO Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau seek assistance from the public in locating and identifying suspects involved in multiple car theft incidents.  One suspect has been identified as Calvin PEACOCK, a 39-year old male of No Fixed Address.
