    Mississauga Man Sentenced to 8 years for Human Trafficking Region of Peel–  A Mississauga man has been found guilty and sentenced to 8 years for  numerous offences in connection with a Human Trafficking investigation led by members of the Peel Vice, Narcotics, and Street Level Organized Crime Unit. In February 2017, Francis Antoine , a 36 year-old man from Mississauga recruited a 19 year old female from Ottawa to work in the sex trade under his direction.

    Brampton Man Arrested for Attempt Murder Region of Peel– Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a 19-year-old Brampton man in relation to a stabbing investigation. On Saturday, January 18, 2020, the victim, a 20-year-old man from Mississauga was at a convention centre in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Airport Road in the City of Brampton.

    Foot Patrol Officers Execute Warrant and Arrest Three for Drug Trafficking Region of Peel – Officers with the 22 Division Foot Patrol Unit have executed a search warrant at a downtown Brampton residence, arresting three people in the process and seizing a large quantity of illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia.    The Foot Patrol Unit’s focus is on reducing lawless public behavior and criminal activity, liaising with Brampton area residents, merchants and business groups in the process.

    NEW - Changes to the 2020 Uniform and Cadet Application Process Region of Peel - Effective January 8, 2020 Peel Regional Police Service will be conducting our own in-house testing for all Recruit Constable and Cadet 2nd Class applicants.     Police Make Arrest in String of Brampton Retail Robberies Region of Peel– Members of the Central Robbery Bureau, with the assistance of 22 Division Uniform Officers, have identified and arrested a young offender after a recent string of armed robberies in the City of Brampton.  In the early morning hours of Sunday January 5, 2020, four separate retail locations were targeted by the same three suspects who brandished a weapon and demanded money.
