Region of Peel – Investigators have released a Public Safety Announcement regarding an ongoing investigation about the sale and distribution of sodium nitrite and masks by Kenneth Law, arrested in early May 2023. A joint operation led by 11 police agencies from across Ontario are investigating all aspects of the case involving the sale and distribution of items that can cause self harm.

Region of Peel - Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Specialized Enforcement Bureau (SEB) Vice Unit, along with assistance from law enforcement partners, have engaged in an intensive and multifaceted investigation. Project Pacific has resulted in identifying and supporting 13 human trafficking survivors, arresting and charging several suspects with human trafficking and drug related offences, and seizing over $48,000 together in property and currency.

Investigators from the Specialized Enforcement Bureau (SEB) Vice Unit, along with assistance from law enforcement partners, have engaged in an intensive and multifaceted investigation resulting in the rescue of several human trafficking survivors, charges laid, along with drugs and property seized.
