    Second Arrest Made in Assault with a Weapon Incident Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested a second male alleged to be involved in the violent incident that occurred on Sunday, August 28, 2022, in the Steeles Avenue and Mclaughlin Road area in the City of Brampton.  On Sunday, September 18, 2022, Mansharan Malhi, a 24-year-old from Sydney, Nova Scotia, has been charged with the following offence:    Assault  Mansharan Malhi has been scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on November 16, 2022.

    Update: Police Seeking Assistance – Last Sighting Rockwood Mall Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are still seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing 45-year-old man from Mississauga. Investigators have been able to determine that on Sunday, August 14, 2022, Triet Leng had walked from the area of Dixie Road and Shawson Drive in the city of Mississauga, down to Rockwood Mall and surrounding areas.

    Man Charged in Sexual Assault Investigation Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged, Vishnu Roche, a 68-year-old man from Mississauga for sexual assault.  On August 4, 2022, the victim, a 25-year-old woman, was on a bus in the area of Hurontario Street and Lakeshore Road, in Mississauga.

    Located 21 Year-Old Man from Brampton Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have located the 21-year-old man from Brampton previously reported as missing. Mathavan Vinayagamoorthy had last been seen in the area of McVean Drive and Castlemore Road, Brampton on Monday, August 15, 2022.
