How is Peel Regional Police supporting the City of Mississauga during FIFA-related events?
Mississauga City council will broadcast 62 FIFA World Cup matches at Celebration Square, including the World Cup final on July 19. Peel Police will be providing public safety during these matches.
How is Peel Regional Police supporting the City of Brampton during FIFA-related events?
While there are no official broadcasts happening in the City of Brampton, the city is hosting the grande finale of the national Canada Celebrate FIFA World Cup tour on July 18 and 19. This is a free, family-friendly event that will feature live match screenings (for bronze and medal games), interactive fan experiences, and cultural programming.
