Peel Police Arrest a Male Youth in a Mississauga Sexual Assault
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Special Victims Unit (SVU) have arrested a male youth in connection to an alleged sexual assault incident that occurred in the city of Mississauga.
On May 20, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police was contacted by the victim who reported that an unknown male approached her in the area of Constellation Drive and Sunray Drive in Mississauga. The suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim. The victim was able get away from the suspect and the scene; the victim did not incur any injuries.
On Tuesday, June 30, investigators from SVU identified and arrested a male youth for:
- Sexual assault
A general provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Y.C.J.A.) prohibits the release of the name of a Young Person, and therefore, the identities of the Young Persons charged in this investigation are protected.
