Peel Police Investigate String of Robberies in Brampton
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) are warning the public of a string of robberies in the area of Hansen Road North in Brampton.
Since May 2026, Peel Regional Police have received multiple calls for robberies in the area of Hansen Road North in Brampton where a firearm has been brandished. The adult victims would attend for a pre-arranged transaction facilitated through Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji and were robbed by 2-3 suspects. None of the victims sustained any injuries. The suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous.
The suspects are described as Black males, 15 to 20 years old, with slim builds, wearing black hoodies and black sweatpants.
Investigators are encouraging the public to utilize the Buy and Sell Safe Exchange Zones located at all Peel Regional Police Divisions. These spaces are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and aim to provide the public with a safe place to meet when conducting transactions with strangers.
