Suspect Sought After Stabbing in Mississauga
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) are seeking 34-year-old Gregory Darling of Brampton in connection with a stabbing investigation.
On Saturday, August 1, at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers attended a commercial unit in the area of Dixie Road and Aimoco Blvd in the city of Mississauga for a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, police located a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was rushed to a local trauma centre and is currently in stable condition.
Gregory is described as male, Black, 5’11”, and has a Caribbean accent. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with red stripes and black shoes.
He should be considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are advised not to approach and to call 911 immediately if seen.
Investigators are urging Gregory to seek legal counsel and surrender to police.
