Assistance Sought in Mississauga Sexual Assault Investigation
The Region of Peel – Investigators from the Special Victims Unit (SVU) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in connection with an alleged sexual assault that occurred in Mississauga.
On May 20, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police were contacted by the victim, who reported that she had been approached by an unknown male in the area of Constellation Drive and Sunray Drive and was sexually assaulted. The victim did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as a Middle Eastern male, approximately 5’9”, with a slim build and an accent. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white hoodie and light grey sweatpants.
