Update: Police Seeking Assistance – Last Sighting Rockwood Mall

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are still seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing 45-year-old man from Mississauga.

Investigators have been able to determine that on Sunday, August 14, 2022, Triet Leng had walked from the area of Dixie Road and Shawson Drive in the city of Mississauga, down to Rockwood Mall and surrounding areas.  He may have appeared confused if interacted with by members of the public.

Approximate Timeline:

  • 1:20 p.m. - Mr. LENG is seen walking from Shawson Rd onto southbound Dixie Rd (Just north of Highway 401).
  • 2:30 p.m. – Mr LENG is seen walking southbound on Dixie Road (Just south of Eglington Ave), on the east sidewalk.
  • 4:20 – 4:35 p.m. – Mr. LENG is seen walking around the intersection of Dixie Rd and Burnhamthorpe Rd E.
  • 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. – Mr LENG is seen in and around the various stores of Rockwood Mall (Dixie Rd and Burnhamthorpe Rd area).

Mr. Leng is described as an Asian male, 5’6”, 140 pounds, with short black hair and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve red top, with a thick black stripe on the sleeves, a red Ferrari logo baseball cap (with white & black trim), shorts, white tube socks and red shoes.  He was also wearing a black sling/fanny bag across his chest.

Police and family remain concerned for his well-being, and ask that anyone who saw or interacted with Mr. Leng to contact investigators at 12 Division.
