Constable Sarah Patten was born and raised in Brampton. Sarah chose to become a Police Officer after her high school career, and spent the following eight years gaining life experience by traveling, working different jobs, and volunteering. Sarah began her career with Peel Regional Police in 2009 and has worked in Uniform Patrol, Neighbourhood Policing, Missing Persons Unit, Toys for Tots campaign and is now part of the Public and Media Relations team. In September of 2000, Cst. Donna Carlson began her police career with Peel Regional Police after working for Toronto Police as a Special Constable in the Courts system for 2 years prior. She began her career at 11 Division in uniform patrol and has moved to a variety of areas including, Neighbourhood Policing, Marine Unit, Frauds, Steet Crime, Major Drugs and Vice, and Road Safety Services. Constable Philip Yake began his policing career with Peel Regional Police in 2008 at 22 Division in Brampton. Prior to being assigned to the Public and Media Relations Bureau in 2022, he worked in Road Safety Services as a qualified breath technician. Cst. Yake actively engages with his community by volunteering with organizations such as United Way and Toys for Tots. Born and raised in the City of Brampton, Cst. Constable Heather Cannon began her policing career with Peel Regional Police in 1995 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Criminal Justice Certificate at the University of Windsor. She started her career at 11 Division in Mississauga in Uniform Patrol and has also worked in areas including, Neighbourhood Policing, Youth Education, Crime Prevention Services and various Investigative Bureaus. Constable Mandeep Khatra attended Turner Fenton Secondary School as a resident of Brampton. He began his policing career with Peel Regional Police in 2009 after completing his post graduate studies. He started his career at 12 Division in Mississauga and has also worked in different areas including, 22 Division, Records Services, Traffic Services, Criminal Investigation Bureau, Neighbourhood Policing Unit and 21 Division Uniform Patrol. Mandeep has been assigned to the Public and Media Relations Bureau since 2021. He loves all kinds of sports including basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer, football and kabaddi. Constable Tyler Bell-Morena started with Peel Regional Police in 2015 after moving from Quebec to Ontario. He began his career with 12 Division as a Patrol Officer, and later transitioned to Field Training Officer. He has also been a part of the Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Team and Divisional Mobilization Unit. He volunteers extensively with Cops for Cancer, Toys for Tots as well as on Tim Hortons Camp Days. He is a board member of PRP Pride, an internal support network for members of the LGBTQ community and is a member of Serving with Pride and is an advocate for fellow LGBTQ Officers. Constable Bell-Morena joined the Public & Media Relations team in September of 2022. He is a country music fan, car enthusiast, and in his spare time, he enjoys camping, kayaking and cycling. Constable Bancroft Wright dedicated 18 years of his life to Peel Regional Police and serving the residents of Peel Region.
