NEW - Changes to the 2020 Uniform and Cadet Application Process

Region of Peel – Effective January 8, 2020 Peel Regional Police Service will be conducting our own in-house testing for all Recruit Constable and Cadet 2nd Class applicants.

We will accept applicants who currently possess a valid 2020 Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police Certificate of Results (OACP COR) and/or the Applicant Testing Services (ATS) equivalency.

Whether applicants possess a COR or not, all applicants will undergo the PRP internal testing process to determine their suitability as a Recruit Constable or Cadet 2nd class.

Applicants who proceed to the Local Focus Assessment (LFA) will be required to complete the following:

•           SIGMA Survey for Police Officers (SSPO) written test.

•           General knowledge test and written questionnaire.

•           Pre-background questionnaire (PBQ).

•           Brief interview with a Recruiting Officer.

•           Fitness assessment by performing the full PREP test.
