Male Charged with Dangerous Driving

Region of Peel – Investigators from 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a Brampton man following a dangerous driving incident in the City of Brampton.

On Thursday, August 23, 2018 at approximately 7:11 p.m. police observed a black Kawasaki X63 motorcycle travelling on Hurontario Street approaching Fisherman Drive in Brampton. The driver was cutting in between vehicles, and entering the centre median to pass other vehicles at a high rate of speed. Due to the high rate of speed, the driver was unable to stop, and collided with a Honda CRV that was stopped for traffic. The driver was ejected onto the roadway, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Kelly Parlee, a 22 year-old male of Brampton, was arrested and charged with Dangerous Operation. He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton in September.
