Witnesses Sought in Peel Region’s 15th Homicide of 2018

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are investigating the 15th Homicide of 2018, which has claimed the life of a Brampton man.

On Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11:06 p.m. officers responded to reports of a shooting at a commercial plaza at 15 Brisdale Drive in the City of Brampton.  Upon arrival, officers located the victim with no vital signs.  Lifesaving efforts were attempted but the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The victim was identified as Kareem Watson, a 34 year-old Brampton resident.

Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau investigators are appealing for witnesses who were in the area at the time of the incident or anyone who may have been driving in the area and has Dash cam video.
