WATCH. Today, marks the beginning of Ramadan, which is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims, and during this period, they dedicate themselves to strengthening their faith. It’s a time for prayer, fasting, charity-giving and self-accountability and it’s observed by Muslims in Canada and around the world.
