Video: Get It – Check It – Eat It! Halloween Safety Tips with Officer Michelle

WATCH

Trick-or-Treating is hard work for our little ones. With a bucket full of candy, it can be very tempting to stop and have a snack. Parents and guardians, please remind your kids: do not eat or drink anything from their treat bags.

Make sure you check each piece of candy. Look for rips, tears, holes or any other signs of tampering with wrappers.  Some neighbours are very kind, and bake goodies to hand out.  Please don’t eat any homemade items no matter where they came from.

Let’s work together to keep Halloween evening a safe and spook-tacular night!
