Vehicle Identified in Fatal Fail to Remain Collision

Region of Peel â€“ Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau have identified the type of vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run collision. It occurred in the area of Bovaird Drive and Mississauga Road in the City of Brampton.

Sometime between May 1, 2020, 11:40 p.m., and May 2, 2020, 12:05 a.m., the victim, Colin Fisher, was going eastbound on Highway 7, known as Bovaird Drive, in the City of Brampton. He was traveling on his bicycle when struck by an unknown motor vehicle on Bovaird Drive between Heritage Road and Mississauga Road.

Colin Fisher, a 32-year-old man from Brampton, was located by a motorist who called police. Despite efforts by first responders, Colin Fisher died at the scene from his injuries.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be an older model, black, two-tone F150, to view a similar photo of the culprit vehicle; please visit our website.

Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are urging the driver of the suspected vehicle to contact a lawyer and turn themselves in.

Police are asking anyone who may have been in the area during this time with dashcam footage to come forward.
