Updated Information on Search for a Missing Man

Region of Peel– Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing 69 year-old male.

Leon McDowell was last seen at his residence near Bramalea Road and Balmoral Drive in the City of Brampton at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018.

On September 13, 2019 at 8:30 pm he was seen in the parking lot of Sunny Meadow Blvd and Bovaird Drive in Brampton.

Leon McDowellis described as male, black, 6 ft. medium build, wearing blue jeans, a plaid shirt that is dark green in colour, grey running shoes and is also wearing a blue toque on his head.

Police and Leon’s family are concerned for his well-being due to a pre-existing medical condition and the length of time he has been missing.
