UPDATE: Public Appeal to Identify Suspect in Dog Bite Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the owner in a dog bite investigation.
On Sunday September 23, 2018 at approximately 4:30 pm the victim and a family member were at the parkway belt leash-free dog park in the City of Mississauga.
At this time the victim a 3 year old female was running around when a black and white husky attacked the victim biting her neck.
The owner of the husky initially spoke with the victim’s family member however he left the park prior to paramedics attending.
The victim was transported to a trauma center. The victim suffered three puncture wounds to the back of her neck, the injury was non-life threatening.
