UPDATE: Arrest Made in Waterpark Assault, Female Suspect Outstanding

Region of Peel Investigators have made an arrest and are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the remaining suspect following an assault at a public waterpark in Brampton.

On July 23, 2025, at approximately 6:20 p.m., police responded to a fight call at the Wet'n'Wild waterpark.  Upon arrival, officers determined that a violent assault occurred against a female victim after a verbal altercation between her and two suspects escalated. The victim suffered serious injuries, and the suspects, a male and a female, fled.

On August 14, police arrested and charged Malcolm Ryan, a 30-year-old man from Brampton, with Assault Cause Bodily Harm.

The female suspect remains at large and is described as:

  • Black, 30–35 years old, approximately 5'6" with a medium build. She has a dark complexion, black braided hair, and brown eyes.
