Update: Appeal for Witnesses in a Fail to Remain Collision Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in their investigation into a fail to remain collision that occurred in the City of Mississauga.
On Friday, November 9, 2018 at 5:30 p.m., Nancy Castro Olaya (65) was walking in the area of Meadowvale Boulevard and Meadowpine Boulevard in the City of Mississauga when she was struck by a vehicle as she crossed a driveway entrance to several businesses. The victim was transported to a Trauma Centre and remains in serious but stable condition.
The suspect vehicle did not remain at the scene. The collision was captured on video from a local business, to watch the video, click here.
Investigators continue to appeal for witnesses who may have been in the area prior to the collision or seen anything related to the incident. If they have video footage or dash cam footage prior to the incident, they are asked to contact investigators with the Major Collision Bureau at(905) 453-2121, ext. 3710.
