UPDATE: All Suspects Arrested in Attempted-Kidnapping Investigation

Region of Peel – The 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau has arrested all outstanding suspects in connection to an attempted kidnapping in Mississauga.
On June 24, 2025, at about 10:20 p.m., two young women were walking near Britannia Road West and Queen Street South when three masked suspects approached and tried to lure them to a light-coloured Audi SUV. The suspects chased and attempted to grab the victims, with reports that one may have had a gun and another a knife. A passerby intervened, and the suspects fled westbound in the Audi. The victims were not physically injured.
On Aug. 18, following a thorough investigation, 26-year-old Waleed Khan of Etobicoke was arrested and charged with 33 offences related to kidnapping, firearms, auto theft, and more. Click here for more information on his arrest.
Between Aug. 26-28, the two outstanding suspects were identified and arrested.
19-year-old Fahad Sadaat and 18-year-old Osman Azizov, both of Toronto remain in custody pending a bail hearing and each face the following Criminal Code offences:
- Kidnapping While Using a Firearm
- Point Firearm
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition Knowing Its Possession is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon
