Two Youths Arrested in Stabbing Investigation

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested two individuals in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in Mississauga.

On July 21, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Creditview Road and Shagbark Crescent, where a 19-year-old male victim was stabbed after confronting two suspects who were allegedly attempting to break into parked vehicles. The suspects and the victim were not known to each other. As a result of the incident, the victim sustained life-altering injuries.

As a result of the investigation, two young persons from Mississauga have been arrested and charged with:

-  Attempted Murder

-  Aggravated Assault

Both accused were held for bail hearings and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

A general provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Y.C.J.A.) prohibits the release of the name of a Young Person, and, therefore, the identity of the Young Persons charged in this investigation is protected.
