Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest

Region of Peel – Officers from the 22 Division uniform patrol have arrested and charged three men with gun related offences.

On Saturday, June 7, 2025, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Stokes Road and Vivians Crescent in the city of Brampton. During the interaction, officers located a loaded 9 mm handgun and arrested the occupants.

Zachari Laurin, 32, of Brampton; Tyson Graham, 32, of Mississauga; and Jeigh Ames, 33, of Brampton have been charged with the following offences:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm
  • Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm

In addition, Laurin and Ames were charged with:

  • Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Order

All three individuals were held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
