Three Arrested in Brampton Tow-Truck Shooting, One Suspect Outstanding

Region of Peel – Peel Regional Police have arrested three Caledon men in connection with a tow-truck-related shooting in Brampton, and are searching for one remaining suspect.

On Oct. 7, 2025, at approximately 10:45 p.m., an altercation took place between two separate groups in a parking lot in the area of McVean Drive and Castlemore Road, which resulted in firearms being discharged. There were minor physical injuries sustained by one of the involved individuals.

Following a lengthy investigation, investigators identified three individuals associated to one of the involved groups.  On Nov. 20, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Caledon. As a result, investigators located and arrested the following suspects:

 Manjot Bhatti (26), was charged with the following offences:

  • Intentionally Discharge a Firearm Recklessly
  • Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
  • Careless Storage of a Firearm
  • Carrying a Concealed Weapon
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm

He was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton and has since been released on bail.

Navjot Bhatti (27), and Amanjot Bhatti (22) were charged with:

  • Occupant of a Motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm

Both were released on an undertaking with conditions to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.

Investigators are still seeking to identify individuals from the other involved group, primarily the outstanding suspect who discharged a firearm as depicted in the attached photo. The suspect is described as a male, South Asian and was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and white running shoes.
