Social Media Day was first introduced in 2010, its continued notability is an ever important reminder of the worldwide access that we bring into our homes and carry with us daily. In this day and age of accessibility we need reminders that once we hashtag, post, upload, comment or share our opinion on the internet it is open to everyone. There are no take backs even if we delete our original copy; we cannot control the copies that may have already been made.
