Suspicious Circumstances

Region of Peel – Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) are seeking assistance in identifying three suspects in a vehicle following a suspicious circumstance in the City of Mississauga.
On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., the victims, two female adults, were walking near Britannia Road West and Queen Street South when they were approached by three suspects who attempted to engage with them and lure them to their vehicle.
The victims became fearful and ran away but were chased by the suspects on foot, who then attempted to take control of them. Victim accounts suggest one of the suspects may have been armed with a gun.
This incident was interrupted by a passerby, at which point the suspects fled westbound in the vehicle, believed to be a newer model, light-coloured Audi SUV. Fortunately, the victims were not physically injured.
All three suspects are described as males of unknown race, average height, and wearing black clothing with their faces covered by balaclavas. More information will be provided as the investigation unfolds.
Police are reminding the public to be vigilant when walking at night or in low-traffic areas and to report any suspicious behavior to the police.
Anyone who may have witnessed the altercation, or motorists with dashcam footage from the area/time or anyone with information is asked to contact investigators at 11 Division CIB at 905-453-2121 extension 1133. Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
