Suspects Identities Sought in Robbery and Sex Assault
Region of Peel – Detectives from the Special Victims Unit (SVU) are asking for the public's help identifying two suspects after a woman was assaulted and robbed in Mississauga.
On Nov. 22, an unknown suspect made arrangements to meet with a sex trade worker at a hotel in Mississauga. Unknown to the victim, two suspects attended and forced her into her room, where they reportedly physically and sexually assaulted her before robbing her. The suspects allegedly tried to tie her up. However, she fought back, forcing them to flee the area on foot. Fortunately, the victim, suffered no lasting physical injuries.
Investigators have since obtained CCTV footage of the suspects and the vehicle, described as:
- Male, Black, approximately 20-35 years old, about 5'6 "or 5'7" tall, heavy build, dark complexion, wearing a gold cross chain, with a buzz cut and possibly a beard, with a, wearing a white baseball cap and glasses.
- Male, possibly Hispanic, approximately 22 years old, 5'0" tall, skinny build, and had an apparent skin condition on his face, resembling dry skin or eczema.
- 2004-2009 silver Mazda 3 hatchback with damage to the rear driver's side quarter panel and bumper.
