Suspect Arrested in Assault Investigation

Region of Peel â€“ Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested the man involved in an assault investigation in the City of Mississauga.

On Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 6:15 p.m., the victim was grocery shopping in the area of Argentina Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard in Mississauga. While shopping, he placed some grocery bags on the ground when three unknown men approached, the victim requested the individual keep their social distance. An altercation then ensued between the victim and one of the men. The victim was not injured. 

On April 24, 2020, the suspect, an 18-year-old man from Milton, was arrested for Assault and Mischief. He will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on June 26, 2020.
