Surveillance Video Released from Mississauga Sexual Assault
Region of Peel– Investigators from the Special Victims Unit are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in a sexual assault investigation.
On Monday, July 2, 2018 at approximately 2:50 a.m. a female victim was offered a drive home with the suspect, in the area of Lakeshore Rd East and Hurontario St in the City of Mississauga. Instead of driving the victim home, the suspect drove to a parking lot where he sexually assaulted the victim.
The suspect is described as male, medium skin tone, 30-40 years-old, approximately 5’7’’-5’10’’, short dark black hair and was wearing a baby blue t-shirt.
The vehicle the suspect was operating is described as a white Dodge mini-van.
Previously, images of the suspect and his vehicle were released. Now, video surveillance from the area is being released in hopes that the public can assist investigators in identifying the male in the video. Video of the suspect and vehicle can be viewed on our YouTube channel.
