**Media Invite** Peel Police and Peel Police Service Board to Hold Press Conference During Victims and Survivors Symposium
Region of Peel – Media are invited to attend a press conference hosted by Peel Regional Police and the Peel Police Service Board, in partnership with Durham Regional Police, Halton Regional Police, and York Regional Police.
The press conference will take place during the Victims and Survivors Symposium – the first policing-led event of its kind in Ontario – bringing together victims, survivors, community partners, advocates, and police services to address violent crime by identifying opportunities within the system which will help prevent it and lessen the impact.
Please note that due to the sensitive nature of the symposium, media are invited to attend the press conference only. Out of respect for participants, capturing photos or video outside of the designated media room will not be permitted.
