Sirens for Life – It’s In Us To Give

Police, paramedics and fire answered the call of the Canadian Blood Services by sitting down, rolling up their sleeve and giving blood - the gift of life. The race was on in Sirens for Life, a friendly summer competition between Region of Peel first responders to see who would donate the most blood.

After being defeated in 2017, Peel Regional Police was determined not to get shown up again, taking  first place in the 2018 Sirens for Life campaign!  The Canadian Blood Services Territory Manager, Lilet Raffiñan said, “Thank you too for all the station signs with the urgent need of blood, it made a big difference! Words are not enough to express our sincerest gratitude for this year’s Sirens for Life. Congratulations!  It was a Big Success.”

Many thanks to all those who gave and to those who will continue to donate blood, it’s in us to give.
