Seeking Public's Assistance in Shooting
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a shooting that occurred in the City of Brampton.
On Friday, November 8, 2019 at 5:25 p.m. a call from a residence was received for a man that had been shot.
Investigation revealed the victim was driving, in the area of Queen Street and Finchgate Boulevard at approximately 5:05 p.m. when a vehicle came along and fired into the driver side. The unknown suspect fled the area in a red sedan.
Victim a 29 year-old man suffered a gunshot wound. He was later transported to a trauma center, with a non life-threatening injury. The passenger of the vehicle was not injured.
Police area asking the public to review any video or dashcam footage between the time of 5:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m., for the suspect vehicle, a red sedan. It was travelling south bound on Finchgate Boulevard from Queen Street to Clark Boulevard then toward Torbram Road or Bramalea Road.
