Seeking Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Assault Investigation
Region of Peel – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in an assault investigation in the City of Mississauga.
On April 20, 2020, around 3:00 p.m., the victim was working at a hotel in the area of Caroga Drive and Campus Road, in Mississauga. The victim observed the man using a computer in the business section reserved for guests. The victim spoke with the man inquiring if he was a guest, which he confirmed he was not. After a brief conversation, the man grew angry with the victim and began to assault her. The victim fell to the ground but was able to fight off the suspect. He then fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a male white, approximately 6’ feet, medium build, 25-30 years old, wearing a black jacket, red shirt, black pants, with a red and white maple leaf hat. He had been seen carrying a black backpack and black suitcase.
