Search Warrants Result in Firearm Seizures

Region of Peel – Two firearms have been seized by 22 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau investigators as a result of search warrants carried out in Brampton and Mississauga.
On Saturday, June 7, 2025, 22 Division CIB officers commenced an investigation into a shooting that occurred on Rambler Drive in Brampton.
On Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, investigators executed two residential search warrants and one vehicle search warrant, resulting in the seizure of two 9mm Glock 43X handguns with loaded magazines, a quantity of drugs, money, and a re-vinned SUV.
Sandeep Singh, a 30-year-old from Brampton, was charged with the following offences:
- Discharge Firearm in Reckless Manner
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of Altered Serial Number
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
Vikramjeet Maingi, a 24-year-old from Brampton, was charged with the following offences:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of Altered Serial Number
