Search Warrant Results in Loaded Firearm Seizure
Region of Peel -Officers from the Vice, Narcotics and Street Level Organized Crime Unit have charged an 18 year-old man from Brampton with firearm related offences.
On Monday, November 4, 2019, investigators from the Vice, Narcotics and Street Level Organized Crime Unit with the assistance of the Tactical Unit conducted a criminal code search warrant at a residence in the area of Williams Parkway and Brentwick Drive in Brampton.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of a loaded semi-automatic handgun.
The 18 year-old man from Brampton has been charged with the following:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm
He attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
