Search Warrant Leads to Seizure of Firearm
Region of Peel – Officers from the 21 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau have arrested and charged an adult male with firearm-related offences.
On Monday, July 21, 2025, a Criminal Code search warrant was executed at a residence near Brandon Gate Drive and Morning Star Drive in the City of Mississauga, where officers found improperly stored registered firearms and ammunition as well as an illegal loaded Glock handgun.
Sean Reid, a 35-year-old man from Mississauga, has been charged with the following offences:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Restricted Firearm
- Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition X3
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
He was held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
