Search Warrant Executed, Firearm Seized

Region of Peel â€“ The Specialized Enforcement Bureau have charged a 31-year-old man in relation to firearm offences in the City of Mississauga.

On Sunday, October 25, 2020, members of the Specialized Enforcement Bureau with the assistance of the Tactical Rescue Unit executed a criminal code search warrant on Colonial Drive in the City of Mississauga.

As a result of the search, officers located and seized a loaded 9mm Smith and Wesson firearm, a quantity of 9mm ammunition, a quantity of purple Fentanyl and Canadian currency.

Everol Timoll, a 31-year-old man from Mississauga, a parolee from a 2015 firearm conviction, was charged with the following offences: 

  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm    
  • Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm   
  • Tampering with a Serial Number of Firearm 
  • Possession Property Obtained by Crime
  • Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order x 4
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)

Everol Timoll was held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice on October 26, 2020, in the City of Brampton.
