Public Assistance Sought in String of Vehicle Break-Ins

Region of Peel - Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) are appealing for assistance following a string of vehicle break-ins in Mississauga.

On December 4, 2025, Peel Regional Police received reports of numerous vehicle break-ins that occurred in the areas of Kimbermount Avenue, Aquitaine Avenue, and Regents Terrace.

The vehicles were unoccupied, and access was gained by either breaking windows or unlocking doors. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole property and valuables left inside.

Investigators have identified a suspect vehicle believed to be connected to the break-ins: a white 2017 Lexus NX SUV. This vehicle had been reported stolen from a Mississauga address before the incidents and is now a key focus of the ongoing investigation.

Residents are reminded to ensure their vehicles are locked and secured. To minimize loss in the event of break-in or theft, do not leave valuables in your vehicle. When parking temporarily, ensure any valuables are hidden from plain view.

Anyone with information on this incident, dashcam or CCTV footage at the time and area of the incidents is asked to contact investigators with the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at 905-453-2121 extension 1133. Anonymous information may also be submitted by calling Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by visiting peelcrimestoppers.ca.
