Public Assistance Sought in Identifying Vehicles of Interest
Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Homicide Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identify two trucks in connection with a homicide that occurred in Mississauga earlier this year.
On Monday, January 20, just before 2 a.m., Peel Regional Police received a 911 call for a shooting in the area of Dixie Road, south of Derry Road. Emergency services responded and located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, 24-year-old Gurvinder Singh of Caledon, was pronounced deceased on scene a short time later.
Video surveillance of the surrounding area has identified two vehicles of interest in relation to the offence:
- A black 2024 Ford F-150 PowerBoost hybrid pickup truck with trim package
- A black 2021-2025 GMC Yukon or Suburban
